Colonial Properties Trust

Colonial Brookwood Village, located in Birmingham, Alabama’s vibrant mid-town market, consists of 700,000 square feet of lifestyle retail, anchored by Macy’s and Parisian and a 35,000 square foot restaurant program. Developed in 1973, Colonial Brookwood Village was acquired by Colonial in 1997, with plans to transform the property from a traditional mall into a mixed use community centered around a lifestyle retail center. Colonial’s major redevelopment of the retail component was completed in 2001. Currently under construction is a 165,000 square foot office tower opening in the summer of 2007. Future potential developments include a first class hotel and condominium residential.
